In life, we all encounter moments of hardship, uncertainty, and distress. During such times, turning to Allah through dua (supplication) provides comfort and guidance. One of the most effective ways to seek ease in our affairs is through consistent remembrance of Allah and sending salutations upon the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Prophet emphasized the power of sending blessings upon him, as narrated in the hadith:

“A man said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, shall I make one-third of my supplication for you?’ He replied, ‘If you wish.’ The man then said, ‘Shall I make half of it for you?’ The Prophet again replied, ‘If you wish.’ The man then said, ‘Shall I make all of my supplication for you?’ The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied, ‘Then Allah will suffice you in your worldly and Hereafter matters.'” (Narrated by Al-Jahdhami)

Powerful Duas for Ease and Relief

“Allahumma salli ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala ali Sayyidina Muhammadin, kama sallayta ‘ala Sayyidina Ibrahim wa ‘ala ali Sayyidina Ibrahim, innaka Hamidun Majid. Allahumma barik ‘ala Sayyidina Muhammadin wa ‘ala ali Sayyidina Muhammadin, kama barakta ‘ala Sayyidina Ibrahim wa ‘ala ali Sayyidina Ibrahim, innaka Hamidun Majid.”

General Dua for Ease

“Allahumma yaa musahhilash shadeed, wa yaa mulayyin al-hadeed, wa yaa man huwa kulla yawmin fi amrin jadeed, akhrijni min halka al-dayq ila awsa’ al-tareeq, bika adfa’u ma la uteeq, wa la hawla wa la quwwata illa billahil ‘Aliyyil ‘Azheem.”

(O Allah, O One who makes difficulties easy, O One who softens iron, O One who brings forth new matters every day, relieve me from distress and open for me a way out. By You, I repel what I cannot bear, and there is no power nor strength except with You, the Most High, the Most Great.)

Dua for Sustenance and Provision

“Allahumma inni as’aluka rizqan wasi’an tayyiban halalan min ghayri kadd, wa asta’jeebu du’a’i min ghayri radd, wa a’udhu bika min al-faqri wal-dayn.”

(O Allah, I ask You for a wide, pure, and halal provision without difficulty, and I ask You to answer my prayers without rejection. I seek refuge in You from poverty and debt.)

Dua for Overcoming Hardships

“Ya Hayyu, Ya Qayyum, Ya Noor, Ya Quddus, Ya Hayyu, Ya Allah, Ya Rahman, aghfir li dhunubi allati tahillu al-niqam, wa aghfir li dhunubi allati tawrithu al-nadam, wa aghfir li dhunubi allati tahbisul qasam.”

(O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, O Light, O Holy One, O Ever-Living, O Allah, O Most Merciful, forgive me for my sins that bring forth calamities, forgive me for my sins that cause regret, and forgive me for my sins that hinder blessings.)

Quranic Duas for Ease

One of the most powerful ways to seek ease is through supplications from the Quran. Some of the most effective ones include:

  • “Rabbana la tu’akhidhna in naseena aw akhta’na, Rabbana wa la tahmil ‘alayna isran kama hamaltahu ‘alal-ladhina min qablina, Rabbana wa la tuhammilna ma la taqata lana bih, wa’fu ‘anna, waghfir lana, warhamna, anta mawlana fansurna ‘alal-qawmil-kafirin.” (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:286)
    (Our Lord, do not impose blame upon us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not place upon us a burden as You placed upon those before us. Our Lord, do not burden us with what we have no strength to bear. Pardon us, forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving people.)
  • “Rabbi adkhilni mudkhala sidqin, wa akhrijni mukhraja sidqin, wa’jal li min ladunka sultanan naseera.” (Surah Al-Isra 17:80)
    (My Lord, cause me to enter a sound entrance and exit a sound exit, and grant me from Yourself a supporting authority.)

Dua for Ease at Work

Here are 6 dua for Ease at work:

 اللهم يسر لي العمل، اللهم ارزقني رزقا حلالا، اللهم افتح لي أبواب الخير.
Transliteration:
Allahumma yassir li al-‘amal, Allahumma urzuqni rizqan halalan, Allahumma iftah li abwaba al-khayr.
English:
O Allah, make my work easy for me, grant me lawful sustenance, and open for me the doors of goodness.

 اللهم يا رزاق ارزقني، اللهم يا فتاح افتح لي أبواب الرزق والخير، اللهم يا غني اغنني، اللهم يا غفور اغفر لي.
Transliteration:
Allahumma ya Razzaq urzuqni, Allahumma ya Fattah iftah li abwaba ar-rizq wal-khayr, Allahumma ya Ghani aghnini, Allahumma ya Ghafoor ighfir li.
English:
O Allah, O Provider, grant me sustenance. O Allah, O Opener, open for me the doors of provision and goodness. O Allah, O Self-Sufficient, enrich me. O Allah, O Most Forgiving, forgive me.

 اللهم إن كان رزقي في السّماء فأنزله، وإن كان في الأرض فأخرجه، وإن كان بعيدًا فقرّبه وإن كان قريبًا فيسّره، وإن كان قليلًا فكثّره، وإن كان كثيرًا فبارك لي فيه.
Transliteration:
Allahumma in kana rizqi fi as-sama’i fa-anzilhu, wa in kana fi al-ardi fa-akhrijhu, wa in kana ba‘idan fa-qarribhu, wa in kana qariban fa-yassirhu, wa in kana qalilan fa-kathirhu, wa in kana kathiran fa-barik li fihi.
English:
O Allah, if my provision is in the sky, bring it down. If it is on the earth, bring it forth. If it is far, bring it closer. If it is near, make it easy. If it is little, increase it. And if it is abundant, bless it for me.

 اللهم ارزقني رزقًا واسعًا حلالًا طيبًا من غير كدٍّ، واستجب دعائي من غير رد، وأعوذ بك من الفقر والدّين.
Transliteration:
Allahumma urzuqni rizqan wasi‘an halalan tayyiban min ghayri kaddin, wa istajib du‘a’i min ghayri radd, wa a‘udhu bika min al-faqri wa ad-dayn.
English:
O Allah, provide me with ample, lawful, and good sustenance without hardship, accept my supplication without rejection, and I seek refuge in You from poverty and debt.

 اللهم يا رازق السائلين، يا راحم المساكين، ويا ذا القوة المتين، ويا خير الناصرين، يا ولي المؤمنين، يا غيّاث المستغيثين، إياك نعبد وإيّاك نستعين.
Transliteration:
Allahumma ya Raziq as-sa’ileen, ya Rahim al-masakeen, wa ya Dhal-Quwwati al-Mateen, wa ya Khayr an-Nasireen, ya Waliyy al-Mu’mineen, ya Ghiath al-Mustaghitheen, iyyaka na‘budu wa iyyaka nasta‘een.
English:
O Allah, O Provider of those who ask, O Merciful to the needy, O Possessor of great strength, O Best of helpers, O Guardian of the believers, O Rescuer of those in distress, You alone we worship, and You alone we seek help from.

 اللهم إني أسألك رزقًا واسعًا طيبًا من رزقك. يا مقيل العثرات، يا قاضي الحاجات، اقض حاجتي، وفرج كربتي، وارزقني من حيث لا أحتسب.
Transliteration:
Allahumma inni as’aluka rizqan wasi‘an tayyiban min rizqik. Ya Muqil al-‘atharat, ya Qadi al-hajat, iqdi hajjati, wa farraj kurbati, wa urzuqni min haythu la ahtasib.
English:
O Allah, I ask You for abundant, pure sustenance from Your provision. O Remover of difficulties, O Fulfiller of needs, fulfill my need, relieve my distress, and grant me sustenance from where I do not expect.

Dua is one of the most powerful tools a believer has to seek Allah’s help and guidance. Whether facing financial difficulties, personal struggles, or emotional distress, these supplications provide comfort and assurance that Allah is always near. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) emphasized the importance of supplication, stating:

“Nothing repels the decree except supplication, and nothing increases life except righteousness.” (Tirmidhi)
