Shaykh Ahmed Aly is Hafiz of the Glorious Quran and is originally from Egypt. Shaykh Ahmed Aly graduated from Al Azhar University, at the Faculty of Languages and Translation, in the department of Islamic Studies in English. He has a strong background in all the fields of Islam, thanks to his study at Al-Azhar since his childhood.
He enrolled in the Islamic Studies department to study Islamic sciences in English. He studied a wide range of Islamic disciplines, including jurisprudence, hadith, tafsir, the history of Islamic law, usul al-fiqh, and Islamic history. He also studied Arabic language with its branches such as grammar, morphology, rhetoric, and literature. During his studies, he memorized the entire
Quran and learned tajweed under the guidance of a qualified teacher.
He has worked as a Quran, Arabic, and Islamic Studies teacher at many academies for over a year. During this time, he gained extensive experience working with children, developing age-appropriate curricula, and teaching Islamic texts to adults, such as “Al-Fiqh al-Mayssir” and “Tafsir al-Saadi” to multiple students. He has also taught Arabic using textbooks like “Nour al-Bayan” and “Al-Arabiyya Bayna Yadayk,” even translating the latter to assist students in understanding Arabic sentences in English. Moreover, he has taught tajweed to students of all ages and levels.
